About Me
Thanks for wanting to know a little about me!! I have been at Pope for 3 years and am loving every minute of it. Before I came to Pope, I worked in the industry for over 20 years. I got my start working at Dorney Park at the ripe age of 14 working in a catering grove where we would cater picnics for different companies. At 16 I started working at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pa in the kitchen. This is where I really started to get interested in culinary arts field. After graduating high school, I enrolled at The Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh. After completing my 2 year degree there, I did my internship at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. After working with Hyatt hotels for 7 years in Atlanta and Milwaukee, I left to go to work for Sodexo food service at Kennesaw State University. While working at KSU, I decided to go back to school to get my Education degree. I graduated from KSU in December of 2010 with a Bachelors in History Education. After working the substitute trail for a few years, I applied at Pope and the rest is what they call history. I've fallen in love with the Pope students as well as the community.
I'm married to my wife for 5 years and we have a fantastic daughter.
